Have a 90 f-150 4x4, V-8 it has been sitting for awhile. Only use it for snowplowing.. Fuel is getting to filter and there is spark. No fuel to schrader valve, though. Will start with starting fluid. Help....

You just need a new fuel filter, and run fuel injection cleaner after you install it.

A new filter may be in order, but did you try turning the ignition switch on wait 5 seconds, turn switch off, back on again for 5 seconds. Do this atleast 20 times to get the gas up to the schrader valve. Do you have plenty of gas in the tank? Also do you hear the pump activate when you turn the switch on.

Sounds like the same problem I had with my 2wd 302 1990 F150.It probably runs good all day once it starts.Try unhooking the battery cable and reattaching it before starting. It may reset your ECM for start-up. The computer on mine finally gave up but drove me nuts until it died.
