Blow off vaulve?

ok i got a 1990 toyota 4runner v6. its none turbo for now. but, i was wondering is thier anyway to puta blowoffvaulve on a none turbo motor? it is a 5 speed. maby on the exhaust manafold? i duno any help? thanks. i dont know anything about turbos. or blowoff vaulves :banghead: :screwy: :nono:

There is no reason to put a blow-off valve on a non-turbo engine. It is to limit the boost, of which you have none.

Ok, go to Home Depot or Craigslist and get one of those $20 2 gallon portable air tanks, then mount a switch to the throttle so it only comes on momentarily when you let off the gas.
Connect this switch to an air solenoid valve that has its exhaust near the throttle body.

i hooked up a nitrous bottle. with 2 vaulves up on the hood vents. pretty sweet. pretty funny when ig et a civic revin next to me wanting to go. haha
