CV Joints 1995 Firefly 1.0L

I know I am on the wrong forum, but the Pontiac Firefly forum only has 2 posts!!

I am hearing the typical knocking of failing CV joints on tight turns. Boots look okay, but I guess after 260,000 Km things start to fail.

Has anyone come across free material (manuals) on the web for the 1.0 L motor? I tried a bunch of searches, but always end up on a Swift Racing site with the 1.3L.

These cars are great on gas! This is my second one. Previous 1989 Sprint had 335,000 on the original motor (burned 1 L every 5,000 Km) until I got re-ended and they wrote it off on me.
