okay so next spring I am going to do a swap either the b16a1 or the b18c. so first which one would be better? then I want to turbo it. so which turbo should I go for? Greddy Drag 3...etc??? I want to run in the mid to low 13's if that is possible! I do look around all over for info and I keep getting mixed stories on what would be better so I need the facts!! I need it to still be a daily driver but to kick the crap out of all of the stangs and camaros at the track that think they are so hot!! LOL:D price is a bit of a factor I don't want to go nuts but I can spend around 7000 can. or what is that? 5000 usd? so please any help would be much appreciated!:D

i say get the b16a, then buy pistons, rods, valvetrain, cams, and a 100 shot of nos. if you only wanna run low 13s and only at the track then nos is perfect. and with a 100 shot youll run 12s, but you gotta get an lsd and slicks. and if you get a 100 shot of nos then you gotta hook up 2 bottles in the back or get a bigger bottle, cause a 10lbs bottle will only last about 8 passes on a 100 shot.
but if your gonna have a shop do your swap then its gonna cost around $3000usd, so that only leaves you with $2000usd and you cant buy a turbo kit for that cheap, maybe greaddy cause they are shitty.
if i had $5000usd, get the swap for $3000usd, then with the $2000 buy a quaife lsd for like $1000, then slicks, then 50 shot of nos. then youll be out of money. launch at 7grand and as soon as it grips, hit that nos button. contrary to popular belief, you dont just push the nos button and let it go, you gotta hold it down. if you do this i think your looking at high 13s, but that pretty much as fast as your gonna get for only $5000

okay well I found the engine for 1299 usd and that is with everything. I can do the swap my friend has a shop called spin city turbo and he is gonna do the swap for dirt cheap. so I have a little extra cash then!! I really want to turbo it. I have been wanting a turbo since my friend got his supra twin turbo and I got adddicted to the sound! haha. What do you think about doing a junkyard turbo? I mean he has so much stuff there that I am sure that we can find whatever we need! I just thought that a kit might be more reliable!

unless you are buying it from a persons wrecked car, more than likely it wont be everything you need to swap the motor in. lots of companies say yeah for $1200 with everything you need to do a swap but it doesnt have everything you need. you need the motor mounts, shift linkage, etc. so maybe you should inquire more about the motor and what it comes with exactly because for $1200 thats really cheap for everything you need to do that swap.
junkyard turbo are ok but they limit your boosting, are small so you cant hear them, and dont make lots of boost so you wont hear the blow valve. i love the sound of turbos and the sounds of blow valves, gives me a hard on, lol.
i say get the swap and just save your money till you can afford a turbo kit, i like drag turbo kits myself.

okay well this is the company with the engine so maybe if you don't mind you can take a look and let me know what you think! it doesn't come with mounts! http://www.jspecauto.com/engine%20prices.html where can I find some info on a drag3 kit? what about a t3/t4 hybrid? I can get one of those for cheap!

well you need to get motor mounts, and i am pretty sure you cant use those axles that come with the engine, and you also need a shift linkage. i think hasports sell the mounts and linkage in a combo for like $450. if you cant use those axles then 90-93 integra axles should fit. also if you want to keep your ac, then you gotta buy a bracket form hasports for like $200
someoen told me that fmax turbo kits are better. i know the drag kit come with a t3/t4, idk about the fmax kit. jsut go on like yahoo and type in drag turbo kit adn fmax and do some research
fyi, i am just giving you info that ive heard, i have never done this swap or know anyone who has, so maybe you might wanna talk to someone on here who has done it before adn knows exactly what you need. what will work and what wont
