Hey everybody! In my anthropology class we have to do a research project on a culture of our choice. I chose to do mine on the online automotive community. One of the things ethical requirements is that we let people know that we are observing for our research paper and that no personal information will be shared with anyone...my teacher will be the only person reading the paper anyways. So just letting y'all know. :)

So basically you'll be doing the same thing as half a billion other people on the Internet, except you're going compose a paper and turn it in for a grade. You should probably use multiple forums if you're going to do an "automotive enthusiast" theme; otherwise, it simply looks like a slack job that you through together. That never works...

Good point on the need for multiple forums. Umm... How about a small list? Or this against the ToS? Hmm...I guess if you aren't required to sign up to browse then its ok, right?

Well, I'll post a couple and if a mod decides it isn't kosher, then they can delete them, savvy?

I think the suggestion was that you do the same on other forums also, NOT that you list what other forums you're observing.
