Here's the deal, I have about $2,800, what can I spend it on to make my 1998 GTP as fast as possible? I am willing to do anything to it in that price range.
I already have the following done:
3" straight pipe with u-bend and cat delete,
INTENSE PCM,
3.4" pully,
MSD wires,
E3 plugs,
Optima yellow top battery,
K&N cone filter,
180 t-stat

2800 is almost enough to go turbo, that'd be the cheapest way to fast power. if i were to be in your position i would:

get a dhp for $400, scan scan scan
Get some coated headers $600-800
Make intake (buy intake) $50 ($200)
mps $150ish
xp cam $1000 ish
intercool $1000

and you're right around your $2800

Lower the pulley size some more and put on the intercooler as indicated. I would also spend some money on new ratio rocker arms, upgrade the ignition system, increase the size of the injectors and purchase and install a ZZP transmission. The transmission in these cars it the weak link and if you want a large amount of additional power I would plan for it by upgrading the tranny and the axle shafts. You may also want to upgrade the brakes so you can stop the thing after you get it going. There is a lot of room for improvement in this area as well.
