If anyone has any idea please tell me!!! I have no parking lights at all, and i drive all night for work..... THANKS!!!

Can garages fix that problem or not???

I don't know if a garage is going to be of any more help. They may be able to source a lack in power with a volt-meter through the circuit. I assume you checked your fuses right? Check the connections to the harness. Follow the wires all the way as far as you can. If you have to open the looming up and see if you have a wire crossed or something. Is it both sides?

You would check to see if they are crossed by physically following the wires all the way through their run. If it goes somewhere that you can not possibly get to, find out where it comes back into sight and check it with a multimeter at that point to make sure that it isnt shorted somewhere that you couldnt see.

Thats the only way your gonna get to the bottom of things...if you've done any work in the areas that have the wires running that a good place to start...since its happened before though you likely have a two wires crossed that uncrossed themselves for a short period, or a bare wire thats grounding itself on the chassis...I had that problem when I first bought my car and conveniently found out while I was driving it home in the pouring rain as it was getting dark..from the previous owner's house :banghead: ..the dick couldn't be bothered telling me that the parking lights were out, and that he had masked a leaking caliper by sticking a nail in the right front brakeline at the prop valve....anyhoo, my problem was someone had did a sloppy job wiring up a trailer harness (I know...who would think about such a thing on such a car). The tape had peeled off the wires and shorted on the chassis...anyplace the wiring may have been cut, or spliced into is the best place to start: in the rear for trailer harnesses, the front of the car if you have sidemarkers, or around foglights if you have them...sorry to babble...its a pain to find the answer but its probably right in front of you..a buddy of mine shorted his brake lights out because he had his sub box on top of the wiring harness and it wore through the wire covering and grounded out on the chassis

You would use them when your car is sitting still in the dark..say in a street or something, so that you dont get hit..At least thats what I use em for.

I got it fixed!!!!!! yay....i dont know how, but saturday me and my g/fs dad took out the taillights, corner lights and the front turn signals. we didnt really take them out we just took them off and let them hang lol, but i put a fuse in and it worked somehow lol, so we put everything back together, and they still worked. Thanks for all your help guys!

I hope you checked the wires and everything out while you had the lights pulled apart. Obviously a bare wire was touching the body somewhere cause once you pulled everything apart the short was gone.

Yea we checked all the wires, we couldnt find any stripped ones or burnt ones, or any bare wires showing. I did find these 2 wires up front underneath the right front corner lightand we put a fuse in and turned the lights on after i moved them away from the body, but we touched the wires to the body and it sparked but didnt blow the fuse. the wires were just hanging there so i had no idea what they were, so we just cut them and taped them off?? one was blue w/ red stripe and the other was a white one...I have no idea what they were for, but i dont think it was the problem. anywho...thanks for all your help guys!!!!
