He's disappeared? He's the only one I know of who has replaced all of the brake lines on a '99 or newer truck!

I still don't know how to replace the 4 brake lines that run between the abs module and the engine compartment. Do you take the old lines AND chafe guards out? Did you put new chafe guards in? If you re-use or use new chafe guards, you can't use pre-flared lines, because the fittings won't fit through the guards.

Have lots more questions....

You will need to duplicate any protective coverings on your replacement brake lines.
Also you will need to flare at least one new flare.
Also flares have specific sizes, if they are too small or large, they could leak
