Third gen Firebirds antique

The first year model of the third gen Firebirds and Camaros are antique next year.

My car was first sold from the dealership in November of 1981. Its an 1982 year model. After 25 years its considered an antique, wich on paper next month will be its 25th year. It wasnt tagged from 1987-1990, and it wasnt tagged from 1992-2002.

Will the 13 years it wasnt tagged make a difference with it becoming an antique?

What should i predict this will do to the value of the car?

Will the insurance go up? Tag?

Hmmmm..............IMO the term 'antique' is a bit over used for cars that are just 25 years old.

Since I was 16 and already driving when the first 3rd gen was sold. I really feel like an antique.

IMO there will be no change to the value or insurance of your car specifically related to the antique status. It's overall condition, optional equipment and general market forces are much more significant in determining its value.
