Ok got a couple questions for you people. My '85 montes' blinkers, all of the sudden, just stopped working. I'm thinking its not a bulb burned out because the blinkers do not just come on and not blink as if there were a bulb out, it does NOTHING when i hit the blinker. So first of all, I am thinking possibly a fuse but I cant find the fuse box in this car :banghead: Then if thats not it, im thinking the actual blinker box but again, have no idea where it is. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

You're porbably right on with either a fuse or or the falsher unit itself, especially if the hazards work.

Do the turn direction indicators on the dash light up, but no flash? If so, it's the flasher unit. If it's the column switch, the indicators will not light.

Try to exercise the hazard flasher switch on and off several dozen times to seat/clean the contacts. Don't operate it like a wild animal, just turn the hazards on and off normally for about 25-50 cycles. If the NC contacts of the hazard switch don't close properly, you'll have no turn signal action whatsoever.

Alright thanks Blue, its sure worth a shot. It sounds like that might work, cause like you say right now there is nothing happening when i hit the blinker but the hazards work fine. I will do that a little later and let you all know what happens.
