Could it be the computer?

I have a 1996 GTP 3.4L DOHC, and i am not getting any spark. I changed the coils, ignition control module, crankshaft position sensor, and still not getting any spark. Could it possibly be the computer????....PLease help i am lost on this situation

Check and make sure that all the grounds and connections to the CPS and ignition modules are good before doing anything else. It is possible that the computer is bad but you should have noticed some signs before this as you will usually get unusual codes or repeated check engine lights. I believe the 3.4 has a cam position sensor so you may want to also check that.

i've checked everything......replaced ckps,ignition module,and computer, and tested cam position sensor...STILL NO SPARK!! dont know what to do

If it is the computer,get one from your nearest auto salvage yard and take the old one with you.They need some numbers off the old one and GM computers can be reprogammed a lot of times.All that is needed is an AC Delco program on a pentium 4 computer and GM's factory scan tool,Tech 2.It goes by the vin on the AC Delco program
