I'll need new tires in the spring, and i found these. Will they fit? I currently have a 99 gls 3.4 with 15" rims. and...since i have 15" rims now, how much would this throw off my speedo, and is it an easy fix to sync it?
the tires are P205-55R/16. and here's the ad. Thanks!
(also, would these look ok on an alero, or would be look goofy)?

That tire and wheel combo should fit. The Alero GL2 and the GLS models have 16" wheels stock. Our Alero has the hp Goodyear Eagle RSA tires P225-50VR/16.
To see if speedo error and for fitment, go to Discount Tire's website and use the tire/wheel calculator.
Do you know the width of the rim and the offset?
The Alero bolt pattern is 5x115mm.

I agree with bnaylor, the tire/wheel combo you're talking about should fit fine, mine also had the 225/50R16 stock and I've now got aftermarket wheels on it. Being that they come stock on some models, I don't think you'd have any speedo error, but like bnaylor said, check it out first.
As for the wheels and will they look good on an Alero...it looks like they came of of a Grand Am GT, so they should fit fine, and other than the Pontiac emblem on the center cap, I think they would look good. I would try to find a different center cap. Just my opinion.

Probably better to pass on it. From what I know the problem is the Vibe stock bolt pattern is 5 X 100mm not 115mm like the Alero and Grand Am. Won't fit.
There are plenty of reasonably priced and quality aftermarkets out there.
