i have a chance to trade that bronco in my sig for a 1993 chevy pickup with a 5.7L V8 TBI the truck has been totaled but the engine is good....if i did this i would want to put this engine into my 84 camaro fuel injection and all...my question is this ..............
how much fuel pressure does the TBI need? so i can know what pump i need to put in it

13? i was discussing this with my dad yesterday and i was thinking that tbi was a relatively low pressure FI like about 15 or so.

it is also ALOT of work to put a 350 in a 2.8 car. I would trade and sell the truck for parts or thw whole motor.

Yeah that's closer, 18-20psi depending on application demands.

From what I've seen, the TBI220 on a 350 usually requires 11-13 PSIG. The same TBI on a 454 requires 17-19 PSIG.

Don't put a stock replacement pump back into your camaro. You should get at least a TPI fuel pump and probably something that flows a little bit better like a Walbo 255. Fuel pressure on the 305 and 350 are the same, but the injector sizes are different. What kind of power your making and injectors your using will determine what fuel pressure you will need. If you have the 350's stock sized injectors and stock motor you'll only need about 10-13 psi.
