Maxima Remote Start?

Hi,

I am looking to buy a remote starter for my boyfriend's 2002 Nissan Maxima SE. The car has an alarm and he wants the starter to be from Nissan so it does not mess up with the alarm. Can anyone tell me what I will be paying (ballpark?)?? Also, is this something I'd get from a dealership?

Remote start is usually applicable only to the cars with automatic transmissions.

There're kits on the market, as well as installed by the dealers. The price is in the range of $50-500; see the link below as an example. Be wary of cheap ones - you'll get what you paid for.
