How hard is it to replace the heater motor in my 2000 grand am

Welcome to AF !
IS not to bad, you just need to lay on the passenger floor :(
Remove the lower kick panel, would be the closest to the center.
Unplug the unit(cant miss it), three 5.5mm bolts/screws holding it up.

what else could cause there to be no heat in a 2002 grand am? So far I see heater core and heater motor. Fan blows without heat. AC works. Anything else easy to check besides those two items? It's my girlfriends car and pretty cold without the ol heater ya know. Hard to believe that a heater core would go out so early for a 2002 model.
