Greetings!
Maximadriver.com gets credit for the wirte-up "How to install an Extrude Hone Intake Manifold". There's a description how to polish Throttle Body.
I did that last Friday and happy to report that, IMHO, the difference appears more substantial that after $400 Y-pipe installation ( I have Cattman).
The engine does appear running MUCH smoothly and quieter and pick-up feels better. It costs nithing - just replace the Throttle Body gasket.
Use ONLY W/dry paper with any lubricant during the polishing: I used 3M 240, 400, 600, 1200, 2000 grit finishing by FLITZ metal polish. All took exactly 1hour, from start to finish.
Highly recommend!
