Front end noise PLEASE HELP

I have a 2001 Dodge Stratus with 30k miles on it. When I am driving on the highway and turn to the left the frond end makes a horrible growling noise. It sounds like something rubbing together. Has anybady had this problem or any suggestions as to what it may be?

Passenger side wheel bearing is going out on you.
Jack the car up and see if you can shake the passenger side front tire up and down and side to side. If there is any play at all that is your culprit. Even if not it may be going bad. I'm not there to hear your noise but the way you describe it that is it.
