Hello,
I was wondering if anyone can tell me what fuse the seat heater is tied too?
I have a 2004 Trailblazer LT (v6). When reviewing the owners manual I do not see any information on what fuse is tied to the seat heater.
Any information would be more then greatful.
Thank you for your time

if you pop off the fuse panel it may say on the fuse legend.
Do you know how to get just the back of it to work? My butt keeps getting burnt and my back is not quite warm enough.

Well that is where my problem is. THere is no legend that shows a fuse associated to the seat heater.
And for your question, there should be a selecter switch that will allow you to get heat just to your back and not ur butt.
But if anyone knows anymore info on the location of this fuse or what this circuit is tied into that would be great.
Thanks

honestly, I know it sounds tedious, but I'd start pulling fuses to see if any are burnt out.

a test light works for this and dosent stress the fuse socket. touch each side of the metal that protrudes through the fuse and viola you will find the bad egg.

first off the wiring question:
ill look it up right now in my book and reply when i get back.
second Question:
there is a switch that says back only on your door panel that looks like a seat back, setting one is max heat, setting two will maintain the heat currently being used and setting three or "low" will heat you to 98.6 degrees +/- 5 degrees.
cannot live without the seat heaters now that i have them sorta like tinted front windows

as far as the drawing there is no info but the wires run together with the power seat controls, these lead to the driverside rear fuse locations and to the BCM check these locations for the fuse, sorry for the sparse answer but its all i got :)

Mine is the opposite. When I push the button to heat the seat and back it only heats the back. I don't know why the butt won't heat. Any idea's?

Actually I came to find out that the connections where corroded(sp), so i just cleaned them and everything came back to life, you may want to try the same.
By the way the 04 TB is the biggest POS i have ever owned, and I will NEVER EVER OWN ANOTHER GM VEHICLE for as long as i live lol sorry had to vent that :banghead:
