Possible Wiring Problem???????

well i just got a 98 civic and everything is perfect on it but this one little thing.....whenever i hit the brakes the left turn signal in my gauges comes on as well as my rear left turn signal..... also if i have the left turn signal on to turn and if i hit the brakes while the left turn signal is blinking, it will stop blinking untill i stop hitting the brakes.....any idea on what it is????....thanks(sorry its kind of confussing)

I would check the ground connections for the effected side.

where is the ground??? its the driver side...thanks for the help

You will have to trace it back from the connector/socket/bulb. Honda uses black for the grounds. It will be simple to check.
