I am going to be doing a coolant flush on my 99 regal gs tommorow. I do not have a manual so I do not know how much coolant to get and I have heard anything from 8 L to 11 L.
Any help would be appreciated Thanks,
Andy

According to the '99 Owner's Manual, the cooling system holds a maximum of 12.3 quarts coolant including the reservoir. However, after a flush it may not need that much unless you drain the engine block which is a PITA.
I have some old posts if you do a search on a cooling system flush procedure and the trick to get the water out after flushing the engine block.

Just wondering if this is an ok brand of antifreeze to use?
My dad being a firefighter gets a pretty good discount at napa and this is the only brand that is showing that they have for my car.

I've never used Zerex brand. But this is the one you want that is the approved Dexcool.

I use the Prestone Extended Life (yellow bottle) which is based on the same Organic Acid Technology (OAT) as Dexcool and 100% Dexcool compatible but it is green in color. Alot cheaper than Dexcool but works good.

It is your choice and good luck.
