thinking about selling the xbox360

I've been pondering the idea of selling my 360, not that I have to but it crossed my mind (sell xbox = get some suspension for dsm or help with the utter failure of my engine).
I got the xbox360 premium, the one with 20gb hd, headphone, remote control and 2 wireless controllers (with one connection to recharge either one thru the system itself), along with the intercooler (attached external fans made to cool the 360 down, and boy do they work) along with the following titles:

-Ghost Recon: Advanced warrior
-Tomb Raider Legends
-Project gotham racing 3
-FIFA 06 road to world cup
-Condemned: Criminal Origins
-Hitman: Bloodmoney
-Perfect dark zero (limited collectors edition metal case)
-Driver: Parallel lines (regular xbox - but 360 playable, needs driver download from xbox360 website to play)
-Grand Theft Auto Trilogy (regular xbox - but 360 playable)

All of this is in pristine condition (except the gta box, its in good shape but not pristine) as I do not use it much plus I keep everything in good order. I even have the 1 year trial for the online xbox stuff which I'm not sure if it is valid or isnt, I haven't used this thing online. I still have the original packaging for the xbox360 system and pheripherals, except for the intercooler.

I would think an asking price fo 650$ plus shipping would seem fair, let me know if anyone's interested.

Sounds crazy but, for an additional 100$, Ill throw in need for speed carbon and forza 2 when they come out (my itsme4g63 screename is widely used on forums liek nasioc & dsmtuners, im not out to scam you)

Keep it. There's only one reason why I got a 360 is Halo 3. Halo 2 is the best game I have ever played, period (after having gone through a plethora of RTS PC games, 1st P shooters, etc). Though definitions of what a "best" game should be may vary, I define it as a game's playability...I can play Halo 2 any time, any day, by myself or on-line or co-op, and it never ever gets old. I say wait for Halo 3... unless your not into the genre.

I will probably go out and buy a 360 just so I can get Halo3 as well... I only bought an xbox for Halo and Halo2... lol :briggrin:

Is Microsoft going to decrease the price of the 360 after the PS3 drops in a few weeks? I would think so, or atleast they would become widely available in quantity so people would not be willing to pay as much for them. If your gonna sell it, do it soon before PS3 launches. You should get more for it that way.

Actually, Halo 3 is supposed to be coming out at almost the same time as the PS3, so I'm not sure if the price will fluctuate as most people may think.

I heard that they were supposed to go to $300 the day PS3 comes out.

I shoulda bought my buddy's when he was selling it... it was the HD one with all the shit and I think 3 games for $250. He needed it like two days later and I didnt have any money :banghead:.

WHAT? Are you kidding me? A 360 with THREE games? Was it a salvage title or something? :p Damn. I paid $500 for my premium bundle from a pvt. buyer who actually got it from TN and brought it along with him during the shortages. No games included.

i just bought a xbox360 premium with two wirless controllers and with 7 games for only $310. My buddy was about to lose it to a pawn shop, so he sold me the pawn ticket for $30 and i took it out for only $280...the money i used to get it was for my hood... Back in July i wreck my 06 eclipse pretty bad and little by little ive been buying parts that i need. Ive already replace the bumper and the hood wasnt to bad so it can wait for my next pay check...i couldnt pass on 360.

Same situation my buddy was in. Needed to have his cat declawed and needed $250. It was either me or pawn shop and he wouldnt wait fuckin like 4 days for me to get paid. Bastard. I had no money though, not much I could do.

I just did some research on this Shpyder....Halo 3 isn't coming out until NEXT fall. :lol:

lol i can go the Target right now, today and buy the 360 for $299 all day long! W/ the harddrive and everything!

One thing that sucks is the XBox's backward compatibility. There are a very limited number of XBox 1 games that you can play no the 360, whereas the PS3 is going to be backward compartible all the way to PS1 and PSP...now that's pretty darn cool.

I didn't know that... You would think Microsoft would be smart enough to make all future platforms backwards compatiable... Thats what'll make a system good.

I have no idea why they didn't do it. Considering all the technology they've crammed into the 360 (HD, networking, USB port, wireless controllers, etc.) you would think that they would've gone ahead and done that. It's one big drawback. Popular games, like Halo 2, and backward compatible, but they're few and far between. Personally, and honestly put, the only reason I have a 360 is for the Halo series. Nothing else. If I wasnt so into Halo, I wouldve gone the Playstation way without a second thought. They have way more titles that are fun to play, and I find the XBox's titles somewhat limiting....fuckin' Halo...


Now, theyre coming out with something called "Halo Wars", and it's set before all the Spartans were killed and the MC was the only one left.

I seen that same bundle today at the mall for 350... Not sure why they are so cheap suddenly. I wanted to buy it. lol
