I got killed!

By a freakin integra! I was with my friend on saturday night and he called another friend who has a early 90's (i think) integra. So he came to hang out with us, well one of them decided we should race so i said whatever and we headed out to a backroad with a few other people. We got there and the guy with the teg picked the spot and how long we were gonna run for. I knew i was screwed when he showed me the place. It was uphill for a bout a quarter mile and then level for like another 50-100 yards. So which one is gonna get the launch? the light, shortgeared 5 speed or the heavy, long geared auto? Thats right, we launched and the teg got a good launch and since we had been sitting for about 2 minutes my car had loaded up with fuel and bogged terribly. Well finally at about 20 it was cleared out and it started pulling good, but it was still uphill. He keeps walking away as my car shifts to 2nd and then about 3 seconds later i matched his speed of about 65. He was about 8-10 car lengths ahead (yeah thats how bad it was!) when we reached the top of the hill. 2nd gear was winding out as i slowly regained some ground. I was about 8 carlengths behind when it shifted to 3rd and then i really started pulling, from 80-90 i gained about 2-3 car back and i was coming strong when he decided to shut down:frown:. In the end i was about 5-6 car lengths back. He was cool about it though and he didnt brag at all. I told him we should go from a 20mph roll but he said "why do you think we went uphill from a stop?" My friend raced him in his 5-spd stealth from a roll and beat him pretty bad he said he didnt need to get beat by another one lol. I just wish we could have ran on my territory, im thinking a 65mph roll woulda been nice:evillol:, it would put me at the begining of the sweet spot for 2nd. Anyways thats my race and its the only one ive had in a while so if its kinda boring im sorry, not too much happening around here.

Dont mind the 2nd part about the civic.

ATX 3/s's with no turbo are terrible from a dig. TERRIBLE! I would not mind having shorter gears but oh well, it makes for a very nice highway car since you pretty much sit on top of the power band in one gear as you climb and climb and climb.

Boost is the great equalizer.

209, i dont know the model but he said he has about 150hp now and i think he only has like an intake and maybe an exhaust (no fart can), so whatever model has 130-140hp stock would be my guess.

does it have square head lights or two little round ones.....

It has the square ones just like the one in the video.

then its a da....probably a ls with bolt-ons.....or could be a stock b17....

It could be a LS or GS they have the same motor which has 135 at the crank, now if you were talking about at the wheels then it would be a gsr which has about 130-140 atw

Ouch, I raced the same type of Integra when I had N/A, but that was after I had converted to 5-speed, killed it easy.

Meh, what did you expect, your car is a whale, no, no its a boat on wheels, if you raced on water you would have won ;)

I dont know about that one....I still think the jet ski would beat yaht....
