Vitamin C - Graduation
The song happened to come out the same year I graduated. I can't listen to it at all, get's me choked up.
I remember one of the radio stations had their own remix with clips of kids from Houston area schools wishing everyone the best.
Jon, Freebird is one of my all time favorite songs. It gives me the chills everytime and will always remind me of my friend who died in August of 2001.

Whisky in the jar baby!
i think....
We don't have a "song" we have play list.
Year 12 graduation there is a song playing before, when people walk in, in the movie theme, someone in the middle, and as the year 12 walk out.
Our walking out song was Metallica - Whisky in the Jar. It rocked.

Meh, we had a song. It was Nickleback- Photograph. However, the tards in administration banned it and would not give us a song because of some of the lyrics talked about drinking.

Simple Man. The hicks/hillbillies wanted the Synard version while the wannabe goth/punks wanted the Shinedown version...so we played both (one while walking in, the other during a presentation).
Nice song, either way. Lots of country music during other presentations and I actually fell asleep in my chair as the counselor talked about each student (43) and their future plans, totally ignoring the fact that everything he is saying was already in one of the presentations...dumbass. And then I gave a speech...it made people laugh so I'd say it was pretty damn good speach for a graduation :D

maybe that's because we live in the real world and don't need to have a "soundtrack" to make it more meaningful?

I don't think we had a class song. I know we had a fight song for football games. Hmmm.... everybody got real excited when they played Juvenile - Back That Ass Up at prom. Does that count?
