Electrochromic Rearview Mirror

I recently purhased a 2002 4Runner SR5 Sport Edition 4X4. It has every option that I wanted with the exception of an electrochromic rearview mirror. I have looked online and found several manufacturers of OEM mirrors. In particular, I like the mirrors from the Donnelly Corporation www.donnelly.com/products/interiorvisionsystems/default.asp which display the compass and temperature in the chin of the mirror instead of the mirror itself. My question has two parts:
1. Has anyone out there installed an aftermarket electrochromic mirror and
2. If so, which brand of mirror did you install?
As a follow up question, how difficult was the installation utilizing the parts kit supplied the manufacturer of the mirror?
Thanking everyone who responds in advance for any information that they are able to provide.

I am in the same boat. I recently purchased a galactic grey sr5 4wd v8, and wanted the auto-dimming mirror as well. Funny, in the brochure, it lists the 'Auto-dimming electrochromic rearview mirror with compas" as an option for SR5 & Sport Edition Models, but I have yet to find a dealer that I can order one from.

I love this SUV. I've never owned one before, my last two vehicles were a '91 civic hatcback and a '98 civic ex. But this 4runner rocks. Yeah yeah I know the cladding looks off, but I'm used to it now. And I love the power, so much fun to drive. I would love to get my hands on the bolt-on supercharged trd is offering (toyotaparts4u.com). :sun:
