An introduction + some works

Hi everyone

Ive been drawing cars for ages but always as quick scribbles in the back of school books, Recently however ive been putting a bit more time into them. Ive been looking round for somewhere to show my works so i thought id see what sort of comments id get from you lot. I know my drawings arent anywhere near the same level as most of the ones here but il give it a go :)

Also im wondering what sort of gear you guys use as looking at my drawings youll proabably be able to tell my colours arent quite solid........

OK now 2 ur work, Very nice. I think ur perspectives are right on. Maybe a lil shade underneath the cars would work out. post more. Enjoy ur expirience here. 99.9% of the people u come in contact with here are super fantastic. Even in the other forums. Take a look around.

As to your question with what "gear" we use here, you don't have to have anything special. Coloured pencils work just fine. Just don't be afraid to push a little harder and make the colours more solid.

Great drawings! The Subaru will look awesome when it's finished. Maybe you try to smudge your colors on the paper to get rid of the papers texture with some Q-Tips. Just a hint. They look great as they are now already.

nice and welcome -love the wrx , as i own one :) your line work is reallly good aswell,if your on a budget maybe buy a small pack of derwents like 30 for now see if you like them or just buy different brands individually and ,see which you like the most,prismacolor are awsome and lay down smooth and so do polychromas

Cool! glad you came and joined the forum. You are off to a great start. Yes spend more time on your work, it is worth it.
As far as tools, I like mechanical pencils on Bristol Smooth paper.
I draw with "ship curves" and ellipses also. I do all my sketching first and then go over the lines with those tools.

those look really good, :D experiment with smoothing out the pencil with some tissue paper or a blending stump makes it look more solid,
