I did this over the weekend... Tried to do some different techs... and a little background... . used gradients and copy layers using only Illy. my wife wanted one... this may be as close as she gets. Robo

Very nice job. Is that drawn or (judging by your post) made on the computer? If it is, post it in the Graphic Manipulation thread and you'll probably get more reponses than you would here. But its still real good wherever it is.

Thanks... No, it's drawn in pencil in rough form, then rendered in Illustrator.

Well in that case, I didnt give enough credit. Thats good to the point where I didnt know if it was drawn or not. Which is good I suppose.

nice one Robo!
I can see you're getting more comfortable with Illy.
If I were to stay in Illy alone I might add reflections using masks or pathfinder too.
I'm liking the little details.
good job.

Robo, good to see you posting again.
This one is so nice.
Lots of lil' eye candy detailing.
Have you thought about a bit of body color reflection in the side mirror?
It seems to be a focal point for me and at this viewing angle I think you might see
some green in there.

Thanks guys... I love the comments because there is always something I see is missing, but can't put my finger on it... the reflection in the mirror is right-on. Lemorris.. I'm still trying to get the masks and pathfinder thing correct. I bought a couple of books to help me out. I struggled trying to get the knobby-look on the ellipses, using the pathfinder, but couldn't get them even.
Again, thanks, Robo
Again, thanks, Robo
