stiff cluch

is the cluch on the g20s suppose to be really stiff? the cluch on my g20 is unbelievely stiff. it's even harder than the 94 sentra that i had previously owned. what do i need to do? adjust the cluch cable or something?

It could be as simple as adjusting your clutch or even replacing your clutch cable. I'm sorry to say though, I doubt it.

My SE-R had the same sort of ultra stiff clutch pedal with my stock clutch. It turned out to be gunk in the pivot points of the clutch release lever. This can only be cleaned after removing the gearbox.

It might be that the clutch is going to die soon, normally at the
end of their life they seem to harden up. Do you hear any
noises as well? I've had my skyline and primera clutches both
do it to me.

my g20 had the same exact problem, i let it get so bad the
damn clutch started sticking to the floor.

I had to get a new cable, it's about 27.00(from parts.com)
i think i paid like 50.00 for labor...

i kinda like the stiff clutch... but i also feel like its always burnin out... haha i fucked it up today in my school parkin lot tryin to get a wheel and not move... haha im stupid

I love having a heavy clutch, I think its easier to drive with.
Today my clutch was annoying me, it was almost sticking I think
so I got really pissed off and dropped the clutch at the next set of
lights and guess wat, it's heaps better. Dunno why but I know its
not gonna last i think my clutch cable is f##ked. Just brilliant.
Add to that the weather is so miserable I nearly aqua planed into the car i was passing, on the way back the other way a Skyline was being towed, I think he spun out in the same place, bugger for him.

i love stiff clutchs seems easy to drive to me
