Installing an aftermarket cdplayer?

I want to install an aftermarket CD player in my 02 GP GT, but I want to keep my steering wheel controls, anyone know if its possible to get a deck and still keep the controls?

Most aftermarket HU's will function with the controlls, however they usualy require an additional harness that (when looking into one myself) ran about $100.

You can buy an adapter that uses the aftermarket stereos infrared remote signal to operate the steering wheel controls. If you have a HUD, the radio stations will no longer be displayed there though.

Thanks for the info. Good thing I dont have HUD... well... I wanted it, but I couldnt find a GP in good condition that had it.
