Any opinions on which gasoline is better for the GTP's?

No real opinion as long as you use premium fuel Shell or BP Amoco. Both are good quality gasolines and should run very well.

Personally I like Shell V-power. I remember a while back BP and Gm were having issues with the fuel quality. I use them both but I try to use V-power when available. I think its more mental than anything. I am not sure about the newer shell mix but I know that the one by my house advertised that is was Ethenol free, so I really liked that. Bp has up to 10% ethanol (but Bp fuel is not from the middle east so that is a plus I guess)

i dont have a GTP but do have a GT with a ZZP pcm and running 93octane. I used Citgo, BP, Caseys General store (89octane) and some other gases and tell no real difference.

the ethanol is not only an octane additive but also helps absorb any water in your fuel, preventing issues form that, and ethanol is made in the good ol' USA so it should be a good thing to have it in your fuel..just my :2cents:

I try to use nothing but v-power, or Sunoco 94 when its on sale. I refuse to let BP gas near any car. Tried it once on my old GTP out of desperation for gas and it did not like that very well at all. Couldn't keep the car running under acceleration unless performance shift was on, any other gas I used had no problems.

try to avoid ethanol,i have a 2001 gtp special edition and i work for a bmw dealership, ethanol is causing alot of damage to cars, ruel pumps and senders, hard starting ,try shell, citgo, look into top tier gasoline and yes mobil and sunoco,i am serious,i used to use bp,and my gtp would not start right ,noticed it within 2 days ,have used mobil premium which gtps are supposed to get, believe me ethanol is bad news,it cloggs fuel filters and turns them black

OK, I will stick with Shell, which I do normally buy along with BP Gold, but I think I might try Mobil premium too. I just want to run the best fuel for my car. I dont run the crap out of my GTP but I do drive it about 80 miles per day to work and back and want to keep it running smoothly.
