2000 S10 front diff problem

OK, this has been going on fora while, and is now starting to freak me out!
When driving at highway speed if I let off the gas I get a whining noise as if some gears are missing against eachother, as I slow down the noise gets much more pronounced, and sounds like clicking. When this first started to happen, I would shift to 4HI, and the noise would stop for a while and then eventually come back. After a while of doing that my fuse for the 4WD started to blow, and have problems since. I can definitely tell that it is coming from the front diff. and it is not dry.
Please help if you can
