Jaguar MKII Saloon

Hello All:

Finally, a little more than a year after I finished this model I'm done with the pictures, it is the Tamiya Jaguar MKII, I went deep into detail with this one, the engine is entirely detailed, I tried to reproduce every component missing in the kit, and also is the chassis, the steering was changed to the correct side with all the modifications needed, and since the model is so beautiful, I had to do my best, hope you like it...

Aw man, that is just fantastic. Does it not come with racing decals in the kit though? I really wanna build one of these for myself when I actually get some time away from customer's builds--I loved the old touring car racing ones!

Gorgeous paint. The engine bay looks phenominal. Any chance we could get a couple good pics of the interior?

what do u mean correct side for the steering wheel? u could have said "conversion to left hand drive" to reflect wherever u are

to me the correct side is right hand drive as the car is originally built in the UK, i have already built mine correct in british racing green with red interior and with english plates straight from the box

This is one of my all time favourite cars and I love seeing it done so well. The extra parts you have added based on your reference material are stunning - especially the braking sustem. Your build is now MY reference material :D

I wouldn't be surprised if you win some more competitions with this one.
Just make sure you hire a security company this time ;)

Well, I just read the building progress thread.
This is the MKII of all times, I haven't seen anything that even comes close to what you achived here.

Very stunning! It looks beautiful but I had to go to the in progress thread to really appreciate the work you've done. This is one of the all time best builds I've seen. Keep it up!
