Hey guys, The last week or so, ive noticed a code flash across my cluster of my 94 Deville that says "set timing mode", its normally within the first minute or two after starting the vehicle. Ive been told it should not come up unless I go in the system to get to the "set timing mode", but it just comes up out of no where. Any insight as to why it may be doing this???

To set the ignition timing, you run a jumper across two connectors on the scanner connection, under the dash near the steering wheel. If some wires are shorted there, it may be causing it.
