Hi, my 2000 blazer has the 4.25 clutch on it. A new compressor with the 5.0 clutch is more common. Looks like the belt would just be about a half inch tighter. Has anyone tried this?

Thanks

I HAVE ALWAYS FOUND IT IS BETTER TO LEAVE THINGS LIKE THEY ARE.
I would say there is a good reason for the 4.25 in clutch.
But fill us in on all the details here.
What is it doing or not doing or why are you wanting to change it.

Thanks for the input. My current compressor is leaking oil at the rear, where the 2 parts connect. The newer Blazer, 2002 uses the 5" pulley. So, my question is, has anyone used the 5" pulley in place of the 4.25?

Thanks
