BMW 635 Csi (Monogram)

Just finished this Monogram model of the BMW 635 Csi.
Not the best kit, but it was a fun build of one of the best looking cars ever in my opinion.. Foud it by pure coincidence at the local toy store. Never seen it before.

The engine does not look correct, it looks more like the 3,0 csi engine. The intake is completely different on the 635's I've seen.. The kit wheels were total crap so I put on these "AVS model5"

That looks nice, good job! That intake looks similar to the Alpina B7 one.

Looks very good. The tan interior color is very nice, and the wheels were a good choice.

Excellent. It is a different feeling with the 635csi made by Tamiya and Fujimi.

What wheels did you use?

By the way the kit is totaly accurate for a pre-1981 model 635csi (including that weird rubber spoiler on the back). The reason Fujimi and Tamiya engines for their 635s are different are that both companies' models depict 1984 or later cars. Just my :2cents:

oh, I din't know that. Interesting! Yes the rear spoiler included is really hideous...
