Strange sound

I have a 97 TC that makes a funny sound whenever I go over a bump. The best way to describe it is it sounds like somthing is swaying from side to side and hitting somthing. It is very faint and most of the time you really cant tell but I was just wondering if anyone has also had this issue. Thanks

i know my 95 town car when i go over a bump sometimes i head a "clank." turns out that one of my exhaust pipes (i have dual exhaust) bangs up against the frame every now a then because a clamp broke. that might be your problem. go under the car and move around your tailpipe and see if it hits something. then you'll know if you find the noise its making or not.
