Acceleration problem help!

I have a lancer 93 model. When I am driving specially on long distance route, a problem will occur in the engine. On releasing the accelarator pedal to reduce speed and then back to depressed it again the engine would kind of hesitate and jerk but will not die. I always have this problem on and off. As long as it is constantly depressed there is no problem,except when you release it and back again.
Have clean filter in the fuel pump in tank but the same thing happens. Also changed filter but to no avail. Could this be a tps problem? I could hear the fuel pump revving high and low when this happened. Why when I switch off the engine, everything will be ok again? Pls help.

i have lancer2006 and i have also accelaration problem with my car.. isn't here anybody know what is the problem?? is it normal?

Mine is fixed. I changed the electric fuel pump in tank and the problem goes away.
