Considering a used '01 Tahoe with 139,000 Miles

So, is this something I should consider or just leave it alone?? They are only asking $11,000 and it is in really great shape. All the little things are good on it. No tear or wear areas in the leather seats, none of the components are cracked, broken or missing. Looks like it was mostly on the road. Looks like it pulled a trailer or boat once in a while. It is a nice rig, has Autoride and drives really nice. Just looking for some pointers and advice.. Thanks!

all i can say is the miles are very high, kbb.com says that is over bluebook, but i'm not sure if it's 4wd or 2 and any other stuff it has.
sometimes people tow a car behind a motorhome and that adds miles to the car even though the engine is not being used.
my dad has a 02 cavalier that has 250k miles on it cause he tows it behind his 87 silverado.
the car only has 50k miles on the engine.
but be wary of 140k miles on a newer car.
thats 28k miles a year which is about 2x normal but i drive over 30k a year.
check out the blue book on it and then decide if it is ok.
but like i said a quick check showed 10k for 4wd and 8.5k for 2wd
good luck with the decision

Just for comparison, I just bought an 01' Yukon XL 4wd SLE (loaded only options I don't have are autoride and heated seats) in immaculate condition with only 45k for 15,995 from a dealership. I think if you look around you can find one with less miles for slightly more.

I just bought a 2002 Tahoe LT for 15,000 at a chevrolet dealer. It only has 55,000 miles. Keep looking!

I have 1997 with 137K on it. I changed oil every 3000 miles over the 100K miles I put on it and it consumes zero oil. Except for some known problems it has been very reliable and should go to 300K.
So check maintenance records and ask about oil consumption.
My torque convertor recently went out since I only did partial fluid change at 100K. I should have been doing tranny fluid at 30K intervals. $1700 to replace/rebuild.
