03 ranger motor swap

how difficult would it be to drop in a 302ci or 351ci into a 03 ranger with a
2.3L and a 5 spd manual, 2wd. i was going to go with a carb. instead of fuel injection. my biggest concern is the gauges. another is the motor mounts.

people drop v8 in these trucks all the time. my main concern would be emmissions in such a project. but i havent done it yet so i dont have much input
