99 regal gs supercharged help

i got a 99 regal gs supercharged. a couple times today when i turned or even driving straight my steering was really hard like my power steering pump was low or something. my power steering was fine and sounded good. do you guys think its my belt slipping everyonce in a while cause im pretty sure they need replaced they squeel alot as of late

How many miles are on your GS? Also, do you have that variable ratio power steering option? Belt is always a good starting point. Can't beat a GoodYear Gatorback serpentine or supercharger poly v-belt. Also, make sure the belt tensioner is working properly. Located below the power steering pump.

it has about 65,000 miles on it. i dont know about the power steering option ill have to check it out. the tensioner on the power steering side seems real nice its actually the other tensioner for the supercharger belt im worried about replacing it moves alot when the car is running
