I just bought a Thrasher CAI off eBay for my '00 GTP and I was wondering how to install it and what to watch out for. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I guess that means you won't have the instruction sheet for it.

Here is a Thrasher CAI install for a NA SII 3800 but the L67 will be similar. Good luck. See link below:

Well i installed it last night and its freakin awesome. I read at the bottom of the instructions there and it said that i should i unplug the battery for 3.5 hours so the car will relearn itself with the new intake. Should I do this?

Thanks Again

That relearn procedure varies on GM cars since that procedure was written up for an Impala with SII 3800. But it would not hurt to follow the suggestion. Glad you got it going and good luck.

Do you have a re-programmed PCM module or any plans for one?

No I dont have any plans. Im just worried it might screw up something in the long run.

Just wondering. To get full benefit from a CAI/FWI and exhaust mods the revised programming of a DHP, Intense, ZZP, PCM is beneficial. Sometimes a stock PCM will relearn and give you zero improvement. Just food for thought.

I noticed a difference. Im just paranoid about getting a reprogrammed PCM because I dont want to have something go wrong in the long run.
