325 cubes. Since you did not specify which 5.3, here is a spreadsheet from GM for the recent LM7/L59 engines http://media.gm.com/us/powertrain/en/product_services/2007/Spec%20Sheet/Gen%20III/2007%20LM7_L59%20V8.xls
You will need Excel (or something that can read Excel files) to see this.
EDIT: The 5.3 has a smaller bore and longer stroke than the 327. See http://www.mortec.com/borstrok.htm for more details.

Everything I deal with call it a 323 ci displacement at the auto parts stores , But they also list my LS1 as a 5.7 (350ci) when it is really 5.6( 346ci) I think sometimes it gets rounded off and they convert incorrectly. Rob
