Coolant Flush Question...

I'm taking my Jeep in for an oil change, tire rotation, alignment, and a tune up on Mon. I was just wondering if anybody would recomment a coolant flush as well. The car has 35k miles and I have to assume it's never been done before since I bought the car with 30k last Dec. Feel free to list any other maitenance that should be done...

With that few miles, I'd think you would be ok with just draining the radiator and refilling with the 50/50 mix of coolant. Do that every 18 months or so, and you shouldn't have a problem. I've always changed my coolant every 18 months, and never had a problem.

Coolant flushes are not listed for how many miles your Jeep (car) has on it. Coolant is good for about 3 years. That is the time to change.

Radiator flushes are good because it flushes out any rust or materials floating around in your engine and/or radiator.

Replace the coolant using 50/50 solution. Try to find the biodegradable coolant.
