I believe zoom zoom and company were trying to get their hands on a can. I haven't heard much else though.

Don't bother with it. We're trying to get our money back. Even airbrushing the stuff (it's horrible from their spray can-sprays mostly air and it's not very smooth), it's nowhere near as good as Alclad II or Spaz Stix chrome. It also cost about $100 for the Killer Chrome, their recommended clear, and shipping :shakehead
The Killer Chrome reacted just as poorly as Alclad II or Spaz Stix to any kind of clear overcoat.
While Mirrachrome might look okay on a 1:1 car out in the sunshine, on a scale model it's a definite disappointment. Save your money and either get your parts rechromed by an outside service or get good with Alclad II or Spaz Stix chrome (found in R/C dept. at our local Hobbytown USA).
