2003 gts front ecu ticking

My buddies 03 gts eclipse is having major issues, battery is dead, front ecu is ticking and when u goto jump the car all lights come on inside and out and washer sprays, wipers...wipe and wont start. what could the problem be plz help

um....call a priest, you will need a young one, and an old one.

Seriously though, not sure. Has the car been flooded (like, submerged in water or anything), all the connections are good and clean and tight, starter is good...with all those different things I have no idea where to even look. If it's under warranty or anything go to the dealer, and even if not, you will probably need a mechanic to give you any real answer.

well were gonna replace the front ecu and the battery terminal for the positive side but who know 3rd gen....gooosh

try the starter relay and a fresh battery. i think that should do it, the ECU shouldn't be the problem.

starter relay may or may not only be attached to a new starter...
