hey guys, i have a 70 c10 2wd. it has coil springs in the front and rear. NO leaf springs.
i was thinking about using some 2" drop springs in the back to level the truck but today i had the front jacked up to replace tires and i liked how it looked.
what i am looking for is a 4" lift. i am not going to lift the rear, so the front is 2" higher then the rear.
first question is will a 70 c10 4wd lift kit fit on my 2wd truck? i am pretty sure the rear won't but i'm only installing the front.
second. anyone know where i can get a 70 c10 2wd 4" lift kit
everywhere i look i can only find 4wd
i did find some body lift blocks in 3"s and that is a last resort.
the lift will be 90% for looks only so blocks won't be that bad but i would like a real lift

70 model 4wd is a solid front axle, completely different than your C10.

If LMC doesn't have them, then probably nobody does. You can also check out mothertruckers.net they may be able to help you. A 4wd lift won't work since they had leaf springs all the way around. I think your only option would be a different spindle, but doubt you will ever find one, not much call for a lifted 2wd truck...
