If 1 cylinder has a 30PSI reading and all the others have a 150psi.
Question
The cylinder with the 30-psi still have enough compression to fire and keep the engine balanced, at this point the engine is running as rough as if a spark plug wire was disconnected. Any suggestions

No! A 30 psi cylinder needs to be redone as you have been told in several other threads. 30 psi will not compress gasoline enough to fire the gasoline and you are going to destroy the engine if you keep dumping fuel into the cylinder with the plug unhooked. NO wonder it is running badly!

The plug is hooked-up, I used that as an example to simulate the way the engine is running

Guys have any of you used "Engine Restore" with any success I do know that I may have a broken piston ring

I have used Restore. It is a very good product for restoring horsepower through improved compression and stops oil burning but it won't fix a damaged piston ring. Only a teardown can do that.

I've been using it for a while at every oil change and it does seem to do as the labels say.
It's not a "magic pill" for you car though.
I've been considering having my own cylinders honed and new rings installed anyway.

If you have a 1997 3.1L good luck on removing the oil pan. I think it it will be easier to pull the engine out.
