7.5 to 10 hrs. if you are fast. 2 days first time repair
Air cond has to be recharged to.

You might want to try a bottle of Bars Leaks on that one. It works most of the time, and is compatible with anti freeze, so you dont have to flush the system. Wouldnt be a bad idea to flush it though, if its never been done. It saves alot of time and money sometimes, when it does work.

So, a couple of questions here.

If I've got radiator fluid in the floor, can I safely assume that the heater core is the problem (in this same model truck)? In other words, is there anything else that could cause this? I've replaced a few heater cores over the years and most are a pain.

Second question. The shop manual states you really do have to remove the entire dash board (side-to-side, top-to-bottom) just to replace the dang heater core. I poked around under there today and that is going to be Royal Pain. Does anybody know of any way around this?
