'96 Grand Caravan crank replacement

My '96 Grand Caravan LE W/3.8L engine W/100K miles has a terrible crank bearing knock. I've been told that there's a crank & bearing kit that can be installed without removing the engine. Is this true and has anyone done this?

I never heard of one.You might look into an engine replacement.If looking for a reman,go with a Jasper which has the best warrenty out there
