Problems!

I have a 1995 318ic and LOVE IT! But being a 1995 it has some problems... First being is that after running it has a gasy smell, why is this? And secondly the temp. display doesnt show up nor the time, does this mean the bulb is burnt out? Thanks for the help!

Gas smell, check all of the fuel lines...
Where is the smell strongest?
At night is when you are having problems seeing the displays? I bet it is a bulb.

There is a recall on your car. Phone your BMW dealer and they will fix this for free. Problem is with the fuel line hose. When the car is shut off this particular part of the line empties of fuel and the heat from the engine compartment hardens it over time. It begins to leak eventually. It's just bad design, go figure. So... call BMW and tell them what you have, and demand it is fixed.
