My cav was having problems and I couldn't stand it anymore. Good thing is the rims I had on the cavy will fit the Celica, so I'm changing them to black and putting them on.

Nice pick up, I'd say it's a definite upgrade. If it was a Gts, I'd be so jealous. I want one of them so f'ing bad.

I would have cleaned them, and the car itself, but its been raining. The pics I took were just before the rain lol. But yes I am definitely having fun with it lol.

YES I love driving the manual! I absolutely refused to get another auto lol. The Celica is an 01, and I'll swap the wheels as soon as possible. I work two jobs, so time is limited for me. Not to mention I have to take them about an hour away to the place that will powder coat them.

Why do want to have them powder coated black? the gun metal you have looks pretty sweet IMO.

You know...I was thinking about that too. I'm going to take them out tomorrow before work and see what it'll look like on the car. If it looks good, I'm going to clean them and throw em on!

Yes some of them are scratched, but I plan on having them fixed whenever I have the time to drive to GA.

very very nice boiiii. i agree wit a kit, not so much the trd but that ones alrite. either way a kit would juss set that shit offffff!!! Has any1 seen the F-1 fenders in person on a car cause i saw them online the other day and they look damn sweet, instead of the z3 fenders.

Thanks. I didn't think that gunmetal would work on a silver car at first, but when I got them on I quickly changed my mind. Most silver cars I see either have black or chrome rims on it, so I like that I'm different in that matter too. I haven't decided if I'm going to kit it or not yet. I am thinking of making it a sleeper (with the exception of the rims), but who knows what may happen in the future.

My girl's friend has an 01 Celica Gts, victory red with gunmetal bbs or momo rims, something like that with the Trd kit and trd wing, with a carbon fiber hood, red underglow, exhaust, etc. etc. I want this kid's car so bad, it's completely sick.

As for the "sleeper" theory...I don't believe in it. Unless your area has alot of cars that are tricked out cosmetically and mechanically. I don't think people fall for the whole sleeper deal anymore because more people go that route then both tricked out exterior-wise and engine-wise. Don't you think it'd be more surprising to see a car that's like a show car on the outside be like a 10 second car? That's how I see it nowadays.

First off, I agree with the bold print 100%

Secondly, that's my point. If everyone around you is all show and no go, then if you go show AND go nobody would expect it, therefor your car would be a sleeper in it's own.

yea i said i didn't really like the trd, mainly the front like deadblade said. But that second kit is sick. The trd doesn't look like it lines up and it seems like too much jaggedness to me. And believe me, the sleeper thing doesn't work anymore. and shit, if you can make your car look sick as well, DO ITTTT!! hahah
